SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- One Congressional candidate in the 24th District opened up his headquarters in Syracuse.
Republican John Katko moved into his new campaign offices on Erie Boulevard West.
He was joined by a handful of supporters for the celebration Thursday. Everything from strategy to stuffing campaign envelopes will be handled in the new office. Katko said its just another step as he heads to the November election.
"It's a grassroots effort. People are excited, they are looking forward to a change and what I can't stress enough is that our entire campaign is comprised of locals, people homegrown, the excitement is building, we can feel it, it's coming," Katko said.
Katko is trying to unseat incumbent Democrat Dan Maffei.
