MEXICO, N.Y. -- The sun was beaming down on those glossy finishes as dozens of classic cars rolled into Mexico for the Classic Car show.
Eighteen different classes of cars were judged. It was the fourth year of the event which is hosted by Mexico VFW Post 369's Men's Auxiliary.
For some the show is just one of many they attend and the up keep is a family affair.
"Well I need to thank my wife for all of her time and effort in polishing this thing. Because not only is the top waxed but so is the undercarriage. It's all painted and waxed and clean and everything else. So it's a top to bottom operation," said Terry Whipple, 1934 Ford Coupe owner.
Money from the event went to benefit local charities, scholarships, as well as the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
